Non finito. An Italian expression, literally translated as unfinished, which in artistic contexts is applied to works of art whose aesthetic value stems precisely from their imperfection or lack of finish, whether a stylistic trait deliberately chosen by the artist or a result of chance. Non finito is a digital platform, a universe and visual archive of unfinished works of art, both historical and contemporary. It explores the worlds of artists. Non finito presents real testimonies from current artists and their feelings about unfinished works. Users learn, research, and connect with these past and future experiences to create their own new personal experience.
