Conscious wandering
(2023)
A book about walking and what happens when we walk actively and consciously in connection with our surroundings. Pages that are cut off, chapters that jump and reappear in another space and place. The book wanders within itself. John Cage's mushroom scores, Henry Thoreau's expeditions, getting lost with Jon Krauker, Courtney Elisabeth Justus's stories in Buenos Aires, among other authors, explore the concept of walking in their sound, visual, or narrative works, alongside accounts of bibliographic experiences that intersect and overlap, generating in the reader a sense of loss and an encounter with themselves.
