ETIV UVIGO AWARDS (2022)

The ETIV-UVIGO Awards are institutional awards organized by the University of Vigo and the TI4 Translation & Paratranslation (T&P) research group, within the framework of activities of the Specialist Title in Translation for the Video Game Industry (ETIV) and the Master in Translation for International Communication (MTCI).

The ETIV Postgraduate Diploma was created and launched by a group of professors from the Translation & Paratranslation (T&P) Research Group during the 2018/2019 academic year. Its aim was to expand the training offered in the Video Game Translation course within the MTCI program, which has been taught since the 2013/2014 academic year at the Faculty of Philology and Translation at the University of Vigo. The program's great success, along with collaborative work with companies active in the localization market, led to the creation of these awards, with the goal of further strengthening the relationship between students and this professional field.
